Background: Increasing age is associated with poorer survival in DTC [Oyer SL, 2012]. In the phase 3 COSMIC-311 trial (NCT03690388), cabozantinib, an inhibitor of VEGFR2, MET, AXL and RET, significantly improved the progression-free survival (PFS) vs placebo in previously treated patients with RAI-R DTC (HR 0.22, 96% CI 0.13-0.36; P<0.0001; median follow-up 6.2 months). The impact of age on efficacy and safety was included in the prespecified subgroup analysis.</p...

Introduction: The role of mitotane as an adjuvant therapy for adrenocortical carcinoma (ACC) remains a contentious topic due to the scarcity of robust randomized clinical trials, attributed to the low incidence of this neoplasm. Despite this, the prognosis following surgery for localized tumors is generally poor, leading to varied clinical practices. Methods: This study utilized patient data from the ICARO registry of the GETHY group and SEEN, with diseas...

Background: Everolimus is the only approved drug for patients with advanced bronchopulmonary neuroendocrine tumors (NET), and there is an urgent unmet need for alternative treatments. Retrospective data for peptide receptor radionuclide therapy (PRRT) have demonstrated promising activity in somatostatin receptor (SST)-positive lung NET. This study aims to investigate the clinical efficacy, safety, and patient-reported outcomes when 177Lu-edotreotide is used to treat...
